What are School Holiday Programs?
School holiday programs at Autism SA are where children aged 3-12 are supported to engage in activities that can help with the development of life skills, social and communication skills and friendships.
Have fun and make new friends while developing a range of life, social and communication skills.
A variety of different programs are delivered each school holidays. Read below to learn more about therapeutic programs coming up next.
Therapeutic programs
Autism SA’s therapeutic school holiday programs are smaller groups delivered by Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists at a range of times and locations.
During the October School Holidays we will be running the following activities,
LEGO® Club
Ages 7 -12
A fun, therapy-based program for LEGO® fans which supports skill development in communication, team work, problem solving and decision making, fine motor skills and emotional regulation. Our LEGO® club program will be running at both our Tonsley and Elizabeth locations.

Ages 5 – 8
Fidget Making Masterclass
Ages 9 – 12
Aqua Skills
Ages 3 – 8
This four day program will give your 3-8 year old, skills in water familiarisation, buoyancy, mobility and water safety and is facilitated by our skilled Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists. Our Aqua Skills program will be running in the North at Paragon Swim Centre in Modbury and in the South at Proswim Swimming Centre in Plympton Park.

On your marks, get set, school!
Ages 3 – 6
Is your little one starting school or kindy next year? This program offers a whole-family approach to get your child and family ready for a confident start. We will help you set up calming routines before school, navigate the school system and arm your family with useful tools and strategies to support the transition.
Offered as a 6 hour package during the holidays, our practitioners will meet with you and your child to understand the needs of your family and provide tailored support.

Autism SA is accredited and registered as a provider through the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). This means that you can pay for services at Autism SA with your NDIS funding, or you may pay yourself, through fee for service.
