Aimed at autistic children aged 5 and under, our Early Childhood Programs equip your little one with skills and strategies to achieve their goals and prepare for the school years ahead.
Our team can help with:
- Behaviours of concern, safety, and emotional regulation
- Everyday living skills development, e.g. routines, sleeping and toileting
- Communication, including the use of visual communication supports
- Social development and play skills
- Transitions from one activity to another and transition to primary school

Autism SA’s highly skilled and friendly Early Childhood Practitioners provide support to your family and your child’s educators (i.e. at childcare or kindergarten) to ensure your child gets the most out of their preschool environment.

Give your child a head start for school through this 12-week program of weekly 2-3 hour group sessions. Run by a team of occupational therapists, speech pathologists, behavioural therapists and educators, together they’ll explore and practice social and school-like activities, routines and transitions.
Learn more about School Readiness ProgramAutism SA is accredited and registered as a provider through the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). This means that you can pay for services at Autism SA with your NDIS funding, or you may pay yourself, through fee for service.
