Resilience and well-being is a real buzz phrase at the moment – and for good reasons! Resilience and well-being are the basis to successful and meaningful engagement in the social, community and education settings.
Given co-occurring mental health issues are often significant for autistic individuals and well-being and resilience play a vital role in minimising mental health issues, this is an area of utmost importance. This session looks at:
- Well-being and resilience in relation to characteristics of autism
- Supports and strategies to improve well-being and resilience
- Creating a true sense of belonging and why this is important
