Donate to Autism SA
Donating to Autism SA means we can continue to provide a wide range of supports and services to individuals on the autism spectrum, their families and their carers.
With your help, Autism SA can provide services and support to the autism community and continue our role as an essential source of information and education about autism.
Donations also mean that we can continue to be a representative voice and advocate for the autism community in South Australia.
Why does Autism SA need your donation?
Autism SA is a charity and is independent of government. We rely on donations to support our work as the peak body for autism in South Australia.
Your donations:
- Power us to improve inclusion and accessibility in South Australia. We advocate to government and businesses to ensure the Autistic community is heard, valued and included.
- Allow us to provide our mobile sensory zone at community events, providing a welcoming and safe place for autistic people.
- Maintain our free, online resources that provide Autistic people, their loved ones and the broader community with reliable, up-to-date and evidenced based information.
How can I donate to Autism SA?
There are different ways you can donate and support the work of Autism SA, which are listed below.
All donations of $2 or more to Autism SA are tax-deductible.
Make a one-off donation
We always welcome one-off donations of any size and can provide a tax-deductible receipt for all donations of $2 or more.
Become a regular donor
As a regular donor, you can choose to donate a set amount each month, either as an individual or on behalf of your company or organisation. Once established, your regular contribution will continue until you decide otherwise.
Workplace giving
You can arrange to make a regular monthly donation to Autism SA as part of your payroll deductions. This is done before tax is paid, which means that your donation is of immediate benefit to you as a tax deduction.
If you would like to arrange a payroll deduction, you can speak to your employer about how to set up your contributions. You can choose to donate a set amount each fortnight or month, which will continue until you inform your employer otherwise.
Your employer may also match its employees’ payroll deductions dollar for dollar.
Choose a donation rather than a gift
An increasingly popular way to make donations is through asking friends, family and colleagues to donate on your behalf rather than giving you a gift for special occasions.
To get further help on arranging this, you can call Autism SA on (08) 8379 6976.
