Event Description

  • Webinar

We all self-advocate, often without knowing it. It’s a skill our success relies on, and for those with autism this is even more the case when you may need specific accommodations or supports to manage in certain environments. Self-advocacy can include a range of skills including asking for help, negotiating, assertiveness, making decisions, explaining your diagnosis to others and requesting modifications or adjustments in a work, social or learning environment. This workshop will also cover information such as deciding if, when, where and how to disclose ones diagnosis and knowing your own rights and responsibilities.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
