We are so pleased to announce a brand-new program at Autism SA – Autistic Mums Group!
The group was initiated by one of our own staff members, who recognised that some new Mums may need a different type of support when navigating the unfamiliar, parenting journey.
Many ‘first time’ challenges come up when bringing a baby into the world. This course will help to alleviate some of the trickier challenges, and support autistic mums to thrive right from the early stages of motherhood.
It will also be a safe space for autistic Mums of newborns up to the age of 1 to connect, learn and thrive as they navigate motherhood, where on completion of the group participants can keep in touch if they choose to.
