Post NDIS planning Support
The NDIS was introduced to fund reasonable and necessary supports to help participants to reach their goals and aspirations. It is designed to support individuals with disability to:
- Pursue their goals, objectives and aspirations
- Increase their independence
- Increase social and economic participation, and
- Develop their capacity to actively take part in the community.
Our team can assist and guide registered individuals and their families through the process of managing NDIS supports with Autism SA.
Once an NDIS Plan has been accepted and approved, our team can provide advice and guidance on selecting relevant Autism SA therapies, supports, programs and services to ensure that both adults and children on the spectrum are receiving the desired supports to meet their specific needs.
NDIS post-planning support
Once an NDIS Plan has been approved, our team can assist in determining the best means of utilising the funding, and helping participants to access desired Autism SA programs, therapies and services.
We can advise on the services and supports that are available at Autism SA according to the type of funding received, and will attempt to offer multiple options or help to find solutions when it comes to programs with waiting lists.
Ahead of an annual review, we may also check as to whether the supports that have been put in place are continuing to meet you or your child’s needs.
