What is Individualised Community Support?
Autism SA provides person-centred, in-home and community-based support to children and adults to achieve their social participation and daily living activity goals.
This can include support in accessing and engaging in community settings, as well as support in the development of social engagement and social participation skills.
We also offer in-home support for a range of daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, personal care, shopping, washing and cleaning.
How can I benefit from the service?
We support autistic people of all ages, their carers, families and advocates with tailored supports designed to meet the individual’s needs. The aim is for children, teenagers and adults to develop skills and gain greater confidence when accessing community activities, and achieve their desired community-based goals.
