Last week we welcomed Tim to Autism SA as the Executive Manager Service Delivery Excellence.
Tim is a Speech Pathologist and has worked as a clinician for 22 years across multiple areas including Health, Early Childhood, Education, Disability and the private sector. He is also the current President of Speech Pathology Australia and has been on the Board of Directors since 2015.
As a clinician, Tim has a great sense of pride in the ways he has supported the neurodiverse community, including by helping children say their first words, teaching adolescents the vocabulary to pass a driver’s licence test, and supporting many people understand the advantages of their ways of communicating.
Tim’s role will be to support the service delivery teams across all of Autism SA, including supporting the Therapy Services, Community, Support & Inclusion (CSI) Programs, Home, Living & Lifestyle, Foundations Skills Groups, School Inclusion Program and Psychology, Behaviour Support & Counselling teams. This role is a key part of the Autism SA Executive Leadership Team and with Tim’s knowledge and experience, he will bring together the organisation to share in best practice and a consistent quality of service for our clients at every level.
Tim will be based at our Tonsley office but has plans to visit all our sites and meet with as many of our clients and families as possible, to help him build an understanding of your service experiences to date, where with your feedback, he can embed excellence in service delivery across all that we do.
