What is Yeah the Girls!
Yeah the girls! is a welcoming group that aims to support participants in understanding their diagnosis, navigating friendships and the pre-teen, teenage world. The group helps to explore the changes that girls may face, and provides strategies to overcome challenges they may experience.
Term time, weekly sessions, Mondays at 4pm at Tonsley or Thursdays at Elizabeth from 3:45pm.
- 1 online parent session
- 8 face-to-face sessions with participants
- 1 report writing session
1:2 ratio, with 3 facilitators and 6 participants

How can I benefit from joining the group?
The group will support young girls in understanding their diagnosis, developing a sense of self and identity and support them in building confidence. The group will support participants in navigating puberty and friendships with consideration for the challenges that young girls face.
How can I access the program?
On completion of the registration form our team will be in touch as soon as possible with more information and to confirm your place. Please note, completing this form does not guarantee entry into the group. This is a registration of interest only.

Autism SA is accredited and registered as a provider through the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). This means that you can pay for services at Autism SA with your NDIS funding, or you may pay yourself, through fee for service.
